A week that will take your surfing to the next level—while delivering everything that makes a great surf trip: good waves, real progress, and a good time with a small group of like-minded surfers.

The retreat takes place in Tafedna, a quiet fishing village about an hour south of Essaouira. You’ll stay at the Villa Aljana, perched above a secluded bay—far from the crowds, close to the waves. Throughout the week, we move between different surf spots to follow the best conditions, avoid crowds, and maximise your progress.

Your surf progression is at the core of the week. With surf skate sessions in the private bowl and video coaching, you’ll work specifically on your technique. You’ll see what works—and what doesn’t—and receive clear, actionable feedback. Whether it’s a cleaner bottom turn, better timing, or generating more speed on the wave, we focus on exactly what will take you to the next level. You’ll surf in a small group of up to five people, with a high level of personal coaching—meaning more time in the water, individual feedback, and faster progress without the rush or crowds.
